Exciting steps...

As I mentioned a few weeks ago I've been doing a lot of Networking thanks to a great women's Networking group - Athena.  Even though it takes up a lot of your time, it's such a great way to get yourself out there and advertise your business.

Already it has led to great things, and meeting the owner of a lovely independent and local shop is one of them.

I approached Portobello Linens, a beautiful gift and homeware boutique based in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, through a recommendation from a couple of Network members.  And it's been great to meet another local business with the same enthusiasm, visions to grow, and determination to better the business.

Through meeting Jane owner of Portobello Linens she has given me some exciting opportunities, which will hopefully promote Laura Felicity and give people more insight in to what Laura Felicity as a business does, especially to the local community.

A new feature to Portobello is their interior furnishing section.  Jane offers bespoke curtains, roller blinds, wallpapers and fabric (to also make up cushions!), which are made up from a range of prices for all budgets.

Jane believes in making the customer feel comfortable and happy with what they are spending their money on, no matter what their budget is.

As well as becoming a local stockist for my greeting cards, Portobello Linens is having a 'Love Your Home' week where my homewares and bespoke services are being featured!

The Laura Felicity cushions, lampshades and lavender bags are on display in the interior furnishing section (and for sale) within the boutique for this week only as part of the 'Love Your Home' promotion.

As well as my wares, Portobello is offering up to 20% off their soft furnishings, roller blinds, curtains, wallpaper, bed linen and table linen.

If you live locally and haven't been to visit this lovely shop yet, get yourself down there this week and purchase some beautiful products with discount!

Have a great week.

Best Wishes,

Laura Felicity
